Mindfulness Practice For ALL (MP4ALL)
Mindfulness is the ability to pay attention to what we experience moment to moment without being pre-occupied with thoughts about the past, concerns about and plans for the future, or getting caught up in opinions about what is going on in the present. Being mindful involves observation and learning to pay attention to our physical body, emotions, and thoughts without being judgmental. Mindfulness practice forces us to face reality as it is. Mindfulness meditation practice helps us learn about ourselves and develop a quality of mind and reduces stress.
